Utrecht is located in the heart of the Netherlands and is
thecountry'sfourthlargestcityandamajorhubforall
rail, road and water transport systems.

Utrecht is just a half hour train ride from Amsterdam.
Almost all Dutch have a bicycle and there are twice
asmanybikesascars.InUtrechtmanypeopletravel
by bike through the city but most places are also
accessible by bus.
Utrecht is well known for its institutions of higher
education. Thanks to the many educational institutions,
the population is young and learned.
There are countless restaurants and pubs where you can
enjoy the sun on one of the many terraces and where
you can try the famous Dutch apple pie.

importer of English books. Also, most of the films in
the cinema are in English, with Dutch subtitles.
